“Flag Brew” is a local favorite. With a super patio for summertime hangin’ out, this brew house provides a super space for meeting up with friends. Warmer weather also brings live music on the patio. Make sure to get there early if you plan to catch a seat on the patio, they are stalked and guarded most of the time. Try the Hummus plate appetizer, it’s delicious and they make a mean Blue Cheeseburger. The house made beers are classified as to how bitter they are and what type; lager, ale, etc. Ask your informed server for a lesson, they are fantastic teachers. Inside it’s a casual woodsy hang out, with the aroma of beer in the making!

This little retro diner offers great prices, good service, and a hip quick place to dine that’s right across from Heritage Square, the heart of downtown. The Biscuits and Gravy or the Pancakes are always a good choice. The Hungry man special would easily feed a couple of people and be sure to see the fish tank in back of the restaurant. It’s a flash from the past and a great place to people watch!
